B.S. In Meteorology

Riley Winch graduated with a BS in Meteorology from Florida State University in April 2022. He was the Tuesday evening weather producer for FSU Weather, which streamed 30 minute live shows weeknights at 6pm EST. He also participated on air in these live shows throughout his stay at FSU. He is most proud of being the first student involved with FSU Weather over its 20 year span to put together a 30 minute live show without a working data feed through the graphics software.

Riley obtained minors in Astrophysics, Mathematics, and Communications. Currently, Riley is the on-air weekend evening meteorologist at ABC 27 WTXL in Tallahassee, Florida. Previously, he was a Freelance Weather Producer at ABC News, working on the programs Good Morning America and World News Tonight.
